Northforge Innovations, a provider of expert software development consulting services, is very pleased to announce that Brenda Pastorek, Northforge Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, is a high technology industry recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. The award is given to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s sixtieth year as Monarch and is awarded to people who have made significant contributions to society and business in Canada. Ms Pastorek is a CGA, entrepreneur, business executive and mother of two. She has held a progression of finance roles during her career. She joined Northforge, formerly MapleWorks, in 2005 as an accounting manager and evolved her role with the company to her present position of CFO and COO. Under her guidance Northforge has grown from a start-up of 10 people to a profitable organization of almost 100 employees. Beyond her professional career she has logged extensive hours as a volunteer donating her time and expertise to the benefit of schools, and sports and social organizations.
