India's biggest Firecracker Factory Caught Fire Video Composed By "Evewin Lakra" Date:5th September 2012. More Than 30 dead as India's biggest Firecracker Factory Caught Fire. "Sivakasi" is one of the biggest firecracker manufacturing company in India. 30+ dead and more than 45 injured on Wednesday (5th Sep 2012) in an explosion at the biggest fireworks factory of (Sivakasi which is in Tamil Nadu). The Police said nearly 40 to 50 sheds in the warehouse had been destroyed. The fire spread from one shed to another shed because of the huge stock of firecrackers being stocked for the upcoming festival. (Eg. Diwali) "The fire has been brought under control now."
