Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson Cofirms No Signings
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed the club will not be making any more signings in the summer transfer window. Ferguson said that Angelo Henriquez will be United's fifth and final summer capture from Universidad de Chile. He joins Shinji Kagawa, Nick Powell, Robin Van Persie and Alexander Buttner at Old Trafford. "We definitely won't be buying anyone else, that's for sure," vowed Ferguson, who also said there are no imminent outgoings to his squad. "There is no movement I can tell you about anyone going the other way." Henriquez is due to join the Red Devils after Ferguson had monitored the Chilean striker's progress for the past few years. "He (Henriquez) is on his way back to Manchester, he had to go back to Chile," explained Ferguson. "He came over when he was 15 and 16. "We kept in close contact with him and, when he got to 18, it was a matter of whether or not we left him for another year or decided to get him in. But he had such a good summer, that we decided to bring him in." Ferguson also unveiled his newest addition, Dutch left-back Buttner, signed from Vitesse Arnhem: "We've been monitoring him for a while. He's a straightforward, attacking, quick full-back and he'll be a terrific addition to us."
