Student protesters get hit with tear gas and water cannons in Santiago
www.brianandrews.us Santiago, Chile (NTN24) Police used water cannon and tear gas against protesters in the Chilean capital Santiago on Thursday. Twenty people were arrested after clashes broke out during a student march. High-school students organised the demonstration through online social networks and gathered at Alameda Bernando O'Higgins, in downtown Santiago.
