There has been mixed reactions in Colombia to the government's plans to reopen peace talks with the guerilla group FARC. President Juan Manuel Santos has confirmed negotiations with the group will start on October 5. The rebels have been at odds with the government for decades and some Colombians say only a military solution is possible. Al Jazeera's Kristen Saloomey reports.
