One Die, Several Injured in Mombasa Riots
At least one person was reportedly injured his morning when police engaged in running battles with the youth in Mombasa. An attempt by the youth to barricade Mombasa railway round about was thwarted by the police. The youth are for the second consecutive day protesting the killing of radical Islamist cleric Aboud Rogo. Rogos's car was riddled with bullets Monday. Tension is now high within Mombasa's Majengo area.
