Muslim Cleric Aboud Rogo Killed
Aboud Rogo Mohamed, a controversial Muslim cleric who was facing terrorism charges has been assassinated. According to the police, unknown gunmen opened fire on Rogo's vehicle in a drive by incident along the Mombasa-Malindi highway killing him instantly and injuring his wife. The incident later triggered riots in the coastal town that led to the killing of at least one person and looting of property. Michael Njenga has the details
