Thanks for the 3rd grade taunts and name calling B.Honest. It really shows you do have a knack for insults in a non-existent debate. What were we debating again? Oh right - nothing. I never actually had any point other than to smear Obama with a few sexist jokes. Ease up little man, dont get your panties all up in a bunch. You are a woman arent you?
As for checking my facts, Im not going to copy and paste the numerous websites that have researched the book banning, 62% cutting, AIP member lies. Its well documented through articles in Newsweek, CNN, FactCheck.org, etc etc etc. I know you get allllll fired up and start whistling like my kettle on the stove when I actually object to your points, but its just the truth. Sorry, thats just how it is. I mean maybe all of those respected news organizations are just liars and no one even realizes it. Or maybe they just did the work for me and you were oblivious to the truth. (heres the FactCheck link in case you dont believe my lies http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/sliming_palin.html)
Oh yeah, did you read the headline on FoxNews.com today? It was hilarious
"What have you done wrong when Sarah Palin comes out of the kitchen and starts nagging you? Its obvious you made the chain too long."
- Barack Obama
Personally, I don't care what label or name is attached to the policy, but there needs to be intelligent policy, both foreign and domestic, to ensure that the next few years don't seal the deal of America's demise.
Obama has worked legislation through to deal with domestic issues, to get our economy and people back on track. McCain, today, showed his disconnect with the rest of Americans and the economy stating that the foundations of our economy remain strong...and later, was pushed back on stage to recant and "re-word" his earlier statements as the US economy took a further dive. McCain's principal economic advisor is tied into the banking institutions whose dumb bets got our economy into the sad state its in now.
Do your reading...Vote with your brain and these candidates' track records...this isn't a vote for Prom King and Queen.
Hehe...no you are not men. Hope you two love it when your houses get repossessed, when your sons (or hopefully you) are sent off to fight for someone else's money, when your jobs go overseas. And who knows, the two of you could be rich jackasses on a hill, but you reap what you sow. If it doesn't touch you, it'll touch someone close to you at some point...and I pity you.
You're no American. You spit on the red, white and blue by joking when you have an opportunity to make a positive change to the country.
You're no man. A man would strive to learn all he could to assure that his country remains peaceful and prosperous for his family, friends, and children and would act on it. A man would speak about what matters most to him and his loved ones and do his best to insure their hopes for the future.
You're not hiding from anyone, "Bill Braskey". And you're doing little to further the debate over actual issues that Americans NEED to consider before choosing someone to fill the office of President and lead us through these troubled times.
If you have an ounce of manhood or respect for your country and fellow Americans, you'd admit that, joking aside, we all need to face what our country is up against and meet the challenges head-on.
I've got nothing against your expression of freedom of speech, though I'd respect my right enough to say that you're wasting your breath trying to make childish playground remarks at a time when we got down to business. I don't need to make the case for the need for effective leaders in Washington when the rest of the country sees it with their own eyes, feels it in the absence of military family members, and feels it in their pocketbooks.
If you have one shred of manhood left, one bit of American in you, regardless of who you support, you'd face facts...step up to the plate, Billy Boy...or is mommy calling you home for supper?
Also, I'd like to comment on the remark about foreigners wanting the worst for the US. First off, your studies (following in the sad path of Braskey) are non-existent. What is existent, is personal experience, my own and my family and friends who have travelled throughout the world and met these "enemies of the US" you talk so knowledgeably about.
First off, it's an illogical conclusion based on the FACT that the US economy is tied to every other major market in the world...want proof, read today's papers... Secondly, another wackjob president means bad news for EVERYONE in the world. The BBC is following the US election closer and more accurately (non-partisan) than any other syndicated news station...is that because they want what's worst for us? Grow up... People are people the world around.
It is more difficult to come by people outside America who view Americans favorably these days, though, TRUE. However, those Americans who do bother to communicate with foreigners, travel to their countries and present the goodness of true patriot Americans to them turn the tide, one-by-one, to undo the damage that the foolish Americans who voted Bush in a second term have done to our nation. It's by no means a stop-gap, but if you saw America from the outside, you'd have a bit of trouble justifying your 'misunderstood' countrymen to people who see nothing but the ill effects of badly mismanaged policies (on it's own people and the world).
We've got to stop this ignorant rhetoric and step up to the plate to deal with issues and restore America and its reputation. I've got all the faith in the world that Bill will read his paper instead of wiping with it, and that one day, he too may engage in adult conversation. If not, we definitely know who to hunt when the ship starts sinking...
AreWeNotMen - THANK YOU for finally getting the reference. I couldn't possibly believe that everyone in the free world (and oppressed world, we can't forget those in Darfur) would miss it. Speaking of missing things, in case you missed it this morning I opened up the latest issue of Time magazine and the featured article had this to say...
"Did I ever tell you about the time Barack took me out to go get a drink with him? We go off looking for a bar and we can't find one. Finally Barack takes me to a vacant lot and says, 'Here we are.' We sat there for a year and a half — until sure enough, someone constructed a bar around us. Well, the day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. Barack yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found 'em!'"
- Bill Braskey, recounting one of his many adventures with Barack Obama as a young teenager hopped up on blow
Since this site (thus far) seems to have posts from at least some people who think before they write and put thought behind their words, this may be the site I've searched for since www.Townhall.com turned into pontification for a few.
So please let me add one more comment that does pertain to this question although not so directly.
If the United States became a neutered world power (oxymoron) by the election of Obama there would be two new Super Powers. Russia will quickly retake all they lost as the USSR plus all of Europe. They would then take all of the Muslim world in a few months (and all of its oil) with a little resistance from China (otherwise it would take less than a week). China would be the other Super Power allowing countires such as Japan and Australia to continue to exist but knowing they are history at the push of a button. Korea would become one Korea and owned by China. Taiwan as well. North and South America would be a battle ground with Russia and China vying for our immense assets. These assets will be divided up peacefully. Charred assets that WERE worth trillions are worth nothing.
Except for, perhaps, many millions of people who decide to resist. Those who do their bidding neutering our country will prosper holding power of life and death over all those in our previously free Super
Power. A protracted "New Cold War" will follow for generations with tribes with flags (a.k.a. formerly called countries) ebb and flow from one side to the other - back and forth but meaning little. Intelligent, trained slave labor will be in great demand. Submit or die will no longer become the mantra of Islam. Submit to slavery or die. Does the world really want such a new world? Your "survey" clearly says so. New Hampshire's "Live Free or Die" will be my choice. Yes, symbolic as we have already lost but better than die a slave in years to come rather than die free now.
Why are such obvious things so hard for people to admit the answer (besides not liking the answer)? The rest of the world hates the Unites States! Just "because". Start with envy then tick down through the other nine mortal sins. Would you prefer your neighbor suffer even if it meant you suffered too? Would you rather prosper if you knew your neighbor would prosper times two? In study after study - envy, greed, etc. wins every time. Shame on the human race but that's life. OF COURSE the rest of the world wishes what is worse for the United States even if it makes their own life worse. "Life 101". Get over it. Get used to it. The rest of the world is NOT tryng to tell us what is best for our country. They REALLY want what is worse for us! Refer to something like 8,000 studies done on this topic. All 8,000 produced the same answer. We hate those above us and smugly smile at those beneath us (and damn well work to keep it in that order!).
I don't see how it's possible to not like Bill Braskey but it seems even Obama likes Braskey from this recent quote found in the Washington Post:
"If Bill Braskey ever decides to run for president it is our American duty to elect him and make sure he never leaves office"
Also
"Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky and I went hunting? Brasky decides he’s going to hunt down all four of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machette. They all begged for their lives…except Fleagle."
Dear Internet,
I am free to make up anything I want, everyone these days is doing it so why not? Heres my latest one found in the Cleveland Plain Dealer:
"Wanna hear a funny joke? Women's rights."
- Barack Obama
As a republican i don't believe in making stuff up but I am still for McCain.
This morning Bill Braskey, the shameful husk of a man, committed an un-American act following the grand style of his adopted party's leaders, by contructing a hollow lie and trying to pass it off as fact. Unfortunately for Bill Braskey, this page will likely be indexed for generations of budding historians to point out his epic failure to his shamed descendents. Welcome to the internet, Bill. DUHR....
This morning I found this quote in the Chicago Tribune front page...
"And did you hear what my opponent, Sarah Palin did when she got back from the battered womens clinic? She didn’t do anything, but she should have done the dishes if she knew what was good for her."
- Barack Obama
