Worldwide Kachin Protests (Burmese)
Kachins (Jinghpaw Wunpawng sha) from Northern Burma (Myanmar) in worldwide protested the ex-general U Thein Sein-led Burmese government on offensive to Kachin Independence Organization (KIO), on June 24, 2011. The demonstrations were held on the same day in Japan, Malaysia, India, Australia, Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States.
