www.jonespayne.com" title="The Jones Payne Group, Inc.">The Jones Payne Group, Inc. announced that the Newtown Community Development Corporation (Newtown) has purchased WeaverPRM™, the firm's cloud-based software that integrates workflow tracking, dwelling, and homeowner information into a system designed to help organize and manage parcel and property-based activities. Newtown, incorporated in 1994 and located in Tempe, AZ, has a mission to increase the supply of permanently affordable housing while developing and supporting homebuyers through innovative programs and partnerships.
WeaverPRM's adaptable design will enable Newtown to manage its housing development projects that currently span four jurisdictions and utilize multiple federal funding sources. WeaverPRM's construction management features will enable Newtown to manage and archive a wide variety of housing projects, including new construction, acquisition-rehab, partnerships with Habitat for Humanity, and even the relocation of an existing home.
WeaverPRM's sophisticated approach to tracking parcels, buildings, and units will allow Newtown to track its growing portfolio of community land trust and deed restricted homes. WeaverPRM works easily with CounselorMax® so that Newtown can manage their homebuyer education and counseling program in CounselorMax and then import that data into WeaverPRM when an applicant successfully purchases one of their homes.
"WeaverPRM's ability to set milestones enables us to create checklists for all the things we need to do," said Allen L. Carlson, executive director of Newtown Community Development Corporation. "WeaverPRM is to housing development as CounselorMax is to housing counseling. While we have software we use to create our construction documents, it's nothing compared to WeaverPRM in terms of being able to manage housing development projects."
The Jones Payne Group will be offering a lunch and learn on data management for CLTs, featuring WeaverPRM, on Tuesday, September 11 at noon during the National Community Land Trust Network's 2012 Conference in Burlington, VT.
