The baby boomer and retirement informational website, LivingSenior.com, received a consumer star rating increase this week. The increase moved the site from a four to five star rating since the last ranking in April. August 03, 2012
The content and social marketing staff of LivingSenior.com made the announcement this week that the sites consumer star rating had seen an increase. In April, the site ranked a four of five star rating with consumers utilizing their site for senior information and resources. The star rating has increased to a full five out of five star rating in just a few short months. This consumer star increase was announced at the last content meeting held by content and social media manager Megan Coogle.
"In April we were thrilled to announce a four out of five star rating from our consumers and readers...In May we responded to the four star rating by releasing a theme of the week concept for the site. This theme would run throughout the site content to include blogs, infographics, informational videos and content in our newly updated Senior Center. That response has lead to our consumers and readers awarding us with a five out of five star rating. The hard work was worth it."
This is not the only increase to occur on the site. Recently, the marketing team announced an increase in RSS feed subscribers as well as social media numbers increasing and overall raw views to the site increasing. The contributing factor to these increases has been attributed to content and site expansions such as the Senior Center, guides and business services for senior related companies and sales professionals.
"The site is about offering the best possible resources to our readers. We do not want to offer just articles, blog posts or pretty pictures. We want to offer the services and tools that seniors need to choose the right care and financial options for them while at the same time offering the services and tools that senior sales professionals needs to reach their customers with high quality service options...Why would you go to five different websites to find answers to your questions when you could come to our site and receive everything you need to know in one spot? You wouldn't and that is our goal."
The content and social media staff has a concrete path ahead of them. They will continue providing high quality content, resources and tools to help their readers make the tough retirement decesions. The theme of the week will continue as will a focus on current affairs and fresh topics.
