Silverado Senior Living, a company founded with the goal of transforming how the world cares for individuals with memory loss, continues its pioneering memory-care efforts with its most recent recognition at the Eighth Annual LTC & Senior Living Link Conference. The initiative, which started as a quest to do away with noise caused by two-way radios, ultimately led to the development of an all-inclusive system that uses a handheld device to combine Silverado’s nursing communication and security systems.
This new system, created through strategic partnerships with key vendors, provides Silverado’s staff with all-in-one control. With the help of this phone-like apparatus, employees can receive instant and simultaneous alerts related to nurse call activities and resident monitoring devices. Stan Tanabe. “This new all-in-one system allows us to enhance those services by ensuring that staff members are immediately aware of all resident care needs.”
