How to build a One-Stop-Shop for Justice and Why?

After 10 years of research and development, Paymon Darmian, the founder of Chosen Lawyers, recently, announced the Beta Release of: http://www.ChosenLawyers.com

Back in 2002, Darmian, an Iranian-Canadian-American entrepreneur, set out to build the first Nationwide--One-Stop-Shop—Multilingual Platform for Justice.

In light of the fact that our justice system is a complicated maze; intimidating, and dreadfully expensive, Darmian’s creative approach seems to be an idea, whose time has arrived: and, not a moment too soon!

During his 2 years of hands on experience with lawyers, Darmian found out that not all lawyers are the same. For instance, some work more diligently; listen more attentively; communicate more promptly, and go out of their ways more frequently, in order to help their clients.

Darmian also observed and experienced the difficult hurdles that clients must overcome, just to find the right lawyer for the job. After all, there are about one million lawyers, in this country, practicing in various fields of law. Finding the right one could be a daunting task: considering the fact that most people don’t know how to research or evaluate a lawyer’s track record or competency.

In order to provide the people seeking justice—with a convenient and comprehensive solution--Darmian found it necessary to learn the nuances of our judicial system. And to, thoroughly, understand the integral role of lawyers within it. A role, which the American Bar Association defines as: “Defending Liberties and Pursuing Justice.”

At the ripe age of 45, Darmian entered law school, and after 4 years of diligent studies, he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree. Of course, this monumental achievement was in addition to his B.A.A...All People, and some--discretionary, Pro Bono services--to the less fortunate.

These generous efforts open our justice system to the people, who, otherwise, could not afford it, and help them know their rights, at the exact moment of need: Competent legal advice also lessens the backlog of frivolous lawsuits, which undermine legitimate claims, and this makes us all, winners!
