Glenmark Celebrates 40th anniversary

Glenmark burger is individually quick frozen to ensure optimum freshness and flavor. Glenmark burgers are intended to fry or grill directly from the freezer. There is no need to thaw the product.

Consumers can enter a Sweepstakes drawing titled, “Get Your Grill On & Keep it On All Year!” Two lucky winners will receive a Weber Gas Grill (Genesis E-310) which retails for $700. Eight winners (one drawn per week) will receive free Glenmark burgers for a year, and everyone who enters will receive a high-value coupon.

In addition, consumers who send a photo of their “Glenmark Celebration BBQ” for posting on the Glenmark Facebook page will receive a high-value coupon for Glenmark burgers.

During the July and August celebration, Glenmark vans will be out and about at retailers around Chicago and its suburbs to set up grilling stations, so people can sample the Glenmark products. Coupons, mini squishy burgers and Glenmark 40th anniversary cupcakes will be given away.

40 years ago

Originally owned by OSI, the Glenmark IQF burger was first developed in the early 1970s. In 1999, Best Chicago Meat Co. entered into a licensing agreement to produce and market the Glenmark brand of retail frozen hamburgers...In Dec., 2011, Best Chicago Meat Co., LLC, acquired the Glenmark® brand.
