Kean Wong: And in Sydney, a seasonal thick fog engulfed the city early this morning, causing delays for international and domestic flights. But what a pretty sight over the harbor. Let's take a look. Inbound flights had to be diverted to Brisbane and Melbourne airports. City commuters were also affected because of disrupted and cancelled ferry services. The thick blanket of fog rolled in during today's early hours and covered almost the entire city. It stretched from the south over the harbour and towards the airport as well as over the north, but it was heaviest in the west. Though it's wreaking havoc on transport, the scenes of white froth over Sydney's harbour and the Opera House were breathtaking. Luckily for travellers by mid-afternoon... temperatures had risen and visibility had improved. All transport gradually returned to normal by the end of the day.
