The recent sunny weather has resulted in a significant boost in Bike and Car track days sales according to trackdays.co.uk Manager. Track day sales for Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July were a lot higher than any other weekend in July so far.
Dan Jones, operations Manager for trackdays.co.uk said 'Own vehicle track days are, to a certain degree reliant on good weather, and so far in July the unsettled weather has been putting off our customers from committing to an event. Although sales have been holding we have noticed that customers are waiting until much closer to an event date before booking. This weekend the sun finally came out and we had a massive spike in orders for track day events in the next fornight'.
Although the light rain would not result in a track day being cancelled, heavy rain can oftern cause flooding on areas of the circuit meaning track time is affected. In severe cases the event could end up being completely postponed.
