MLB Playoff Preview 2010!

On Twitter: @longisland495 As the MLB Playoff taglines used to say: There's Only One October. October. To baseball fans everywhere, October is probably the most favorite word to many MLB aficionados. This is the most exciting time of the year in MLB. The regular season is over. The 6 months and 162 game regular season is over! We started with 30 and are now down to 8. Giants vs. Braves These teams really had to work the full 162 to earn their spots in this year's postseason. They couldn't take the rest of the year off like the Minnesota Twins could since they of course were the first team to clinch a division title. Atlanta was really close to giving it all away believe it or not. The Padres had won their first two games vs. the Giants at AT&T Park aka The Phone Booth. The Phils played their final series at Turner Field vs. the Braves and won the first two at the Ted. The anxiety of Braves fans was eased on Sunday when they defeated Philly and San Francisco beat the Padres to clinch the Wild Card for Atlanta and the NL West for the Giants. The Bobby Cox element to this is a great story. It would be cool to see him leave baseball as a Champion. I don't think it's happening. San Francisco will win this series. I like their pitching staff over Atlanta's. Plus, the Braves stink away from Turner Field. 35-46 on the road. That doesn't win you playoff games/series. Frisco will advance. The series does also feature two NL Rookie of the Year candidates in Buster Posey and Jason <b>...</b>
