The GIVE Program
Veterans Outreach Center and BOCES 2's Center for Workforce Development have partnered up to create the GIVE program. The Green Initiative for Veterans' Employment is an employment retraining project created to encourage local industries to adapt environmentally friendly and sustainable practices while providing training and gainful employment to military veterans in rewarding occupational specialties. With more than 28 program graduates, VOC has placed 90% of those individuals in full-time green jobs.
