The International Libyan Conference on Electronic Government will provide a “summary of opinions, thoughts, results and recommendations of research papers as a guiding effort in establishing a national e-Government roadmap for the new Libya”. E-government is seen as a way to improve efficiencies in the delivery of government services, enhance transparency and accelerate decentralization. The conference runs from July 14-15 and is being hosted by the Libyan Office of the Prime Minister, General Authority of Information, National Economic Development Board, Ministry of Higher Education, and Authority of Technical Training.
