Pneumatech Begins Production at New Full-Service Facility in Houston

Pneumatech, a world leader in compressed air system engineering, has begun production of its standard and custom-designed air treatment products at its new Houston Compressors Product facility in Houston, the company announced today.

At the new 96,000 square-foot facility, Pneumatech will design and build advanced air treatment products from its product line, including refrigerated dryers, regenerative dryers, landfill and biogas dryers, drains, after-coolers, filters, water chillers and closed loop coolers.

“This state-of-the-art facility is a testament to our commitment to meet customers’ needs for reliable, advanced air treatment products through engineering excellence, technological innovation and first-class customer service,” said Ellen Steck, President, Pneumatech. “We are able to design, manufacture and test compressed air systems for a wide range of industries here, providing customers with the first-class service they’ve come to expect from Pneumatech.”

The facility is located at the World Houston International Business Center, just south of George Bush Intercontinental Airport. It consolidates three manufacturing and assembly operations into one location, creating efficiencies in design and production for standard and customized air compressors, air treatment products and skid packages.

Overall, the center’s opening created 55 new jobs for the Houston area, and more than 150 employees are based at the facility. At least another 15 positions are expected to be added in the near future, with more possible as the facility’s operating capacity increases.

“This facility brings Pneumatech closer to many of our customers, particularly in the oil and gas industry, and we’ll be able to take advantage of the Houston area’s comprehensive logistics infrastructure to deliver products to customers even more efficiently,” Steck said. “Our valued distributors and customers will quickly realize the benefits of our new home.”
