After battling the Waldo Canyon wildfire for two weeks, emergency officials in Colorado were more concerned Saturday with flooding. Heavy rain was in the forecast after a long spell of dry weather that fueled the Waldo Canyon blaze west of Colorado Springs, The Denver Post reported. FULL ARTICLE AT United Press International

  • Flood watches abound

    The Denver Post
    Colorado Department of Transportation reported, and Rist Canyon Road was closed by flash flooding and debris. Lefthand Canyon northwest of Boulder was also closed, and road damage was reported in James Canyon and on Magnolia Road near Nederland.
