Tuscaloosa and Anniston hit record highs for today

Record temperatures were recorded today in Tuscaloosa and Anniston, both breaking records set nearly 60 years ago. According to the National Weather Service , temperatures in both those cities hit 104 this afternoon. The previous record high in Tuscaloosa for June 30 was 103 in 1954.
