On Friday, June 8, all CSI Finance Account Directors and Vendor Enrollment Managers participated in the Institute of Finance and Management’s and The Accounts Payable Network’s jointly developed Accounts Payable Certification Program. The course consisted of an all-day lecture that culminated with a certification test covering a variety of topics from internal controls and process functions, to vendor relations, and tax and regulatory information.

The Accredited Payables Specialist designations set the standard in the Accounts Payable profession and are global symbols of excellence. AP professionals around the world have enrolled in the APS program. These designations demonstrate professional commitment and mastery of core topics and knowledge of emerging issues in AP and finance. The certifications signify that an individual has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to perform well in today's complex AP environment.
