The 2012 Market Report from Meetings and Incentive Travel Magazine was released in their January/February 2012 issue where they announce the readers’ choices in several travel related categories. Meeting Planners responded to survey of what properties continually exceed their expectations and best cater to their client’s needs. Planners responded in record high levels this year with the popular Niagara on the Lake hotel White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa being named one of the top six Best Venues with Beds. This is one of many awards that have been won in the past by the popular Ontario conference centre. Other categories this year include Best Venues without Beds, Best Hotel Chain, Best Audio Visual, Best Online Registration, and Best Transportation.
The Spa at White Oaks to date remains one of the largest in Ontario with a total of seventeen treatment rooms, a stunning couples suite and two relaxation rooms. White Oaks brought in Jennifer Hipwell as their new Spa Director in December of 2011 and are enjoying a resurgence of new ideas, new philosophy and of course, new product lines. “The spa is not all about self-indulgence but more an enhancement to your overall wellness. The newly branded and fully optimized website was launched in late May followed by their own Youtube channel, Facebook, Twitter feeds for weddings, the club and hotel. February saw the launch of the company’s blog Woahhh, with content ranging from health and fitness to conferencing and inspiration to name just a few. “The blog is our way to share stories and give an inside peek into the heart and soul of our brand, the people and experts that work here with us every day. “ states Julie Lepp, Director of Marketing for White Oaks.
