Risk Integrated, the leading provider of quantitative risk analysis software for commercial real estate lending, today announced the launch of SFS Cloud-Burst™. The enhancement to the Specialized Finance System (SFS) enables risk managers to access the massive computational processing power of cloud providers, without having to purchase, store and maintain servers in-house. This new feature harnesses the latest cloud technology to give risk managers an essentially unlimited burst of computational power, cost efficiently and on-demand.
“With SFS Cloud-Burst, risk managers can now perform a sophisticated Monte Carlo analysis of their entire real estate portfolios within minutes, rather than hours,” said Dr. Yusuf Jafry, CTO of Risk Integrated.
Prior to Cloud-Burst, risk managers could use parallel processing to reduce the overall run times, but they were limited by the amount of physical hardware installed. This also required a significant initial expense for banks to purchase, accommodate and maintain servers, which is not cost-efficient if used infrequently, for example, for a monthly portfolio stress-testing report. Risk managers can save time and money, by harnessing vast computational power to obtain detailed, accurate results, quickly.
Access to unlimited computing power enables the world-leading SFS risk engine to analyze portfolios of any size...The offering also includes a suite of available-on-demand cloud servers that are already configured with the SFS risk engine software.
