Golden Gate Bridge toll rises by $1 to $6 today
The toll on the Golden Gate Bridge went up by one dollar today...Toll takers were provided with extra one-dollar bills today in preparation for the change. District spokeswoman Mary Currie said that between midnight and 10 a.m. today, toll plaza workers gave out 1,500 one-dollar bills in change.
