In their latest blog post, Ed and Cathy Lorient discuss how an active social life can keep every marriage hot with passion. The new blog post is titled, “How You and Your Friends Can Keep Each Other’s Marriages Hot.”

Within this latest post, Ed and Cathy admit that every marriage throws up a struggle to spend time as a couple, particularly with the arrival of children.

However, they also explain that there are techniques to ensure that private time is always on tap, by utilizing the friendship of another couple.

With this in mind, Ed and Cathy share some exciting tips for working with another couple to keep marriage hot.

Firstly, they suggest getting together with another couple and designating a date night for each. On each couple’s date night, their children stay at the home of the couple who are ‘off’.

“This not only gives you the time to go out, it also gives you more money to do it. Oftentimes, couples don’t get out enough because they can’t afford to pay a sitter, too” they say.

Their second tip is a useful one for couples wanting to get away for a weekend alone.

They suggest having a barbeque with another couple and each deciding on a weekend they would like to get away. Again, the children are able to stay with whichever couple is home on that particular weekend.

Ed and Cathy make it clear that the care of each other’s children is no longer imposing, as there is a trade-off for everyone concerned.

“If you’re trading weekends with another couple, it’s not an imposition, it’s an opportunity that neither for you would otherwise have” they explain.

Ed and Cathy’s final tip is to ‘trade teens’. This involves getting together with another couple and having each family’s teen watch the other’s kids for one night each week. Not only do the teens get to make money, but the parents can have a night of fun knowing that someone familiar to them is watching over their children.

For couples stuck for a weekend getaway location, Ed and Cathy highly suggest paying a visit to the EscapeMaker website.
