“Teach your children what we have taught our children that the earth is our mother.” – Native American proverb.
TLS Auto Recycling announced a new service on May 13th 2012 to purchase junk cars for cash, thus contributing to the “reduce, reuse, recycle” mantra, and retains its longstanding commitment to the environment by continuing to test all OEM parts in house to meet strict environmental standards. TLS will also soon expand to recycle vehicles with other recognized companies, such as Charity Car and Green Vehicle Disposal.
The inaugural Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970. Many consider this day to mark the rise of the modern environmental movement. The past four decades have seen the strength of the movement ebb and flow, but the current incarnation of the movement has emphasized one key point about all else – conserving resources. It is this way, and this way only, that we can hope to have a clean earth to present to our children.
Al Gore once said, “The global environment crisis is, as we say in Tennessee, real as rain, and I cannot stand the thought of leaving my children with a degraded earth and a diminished future.” This Sunday, May 13, 2012, families all over America were engaged in celebrating their mothers, and TLS did much the same by celebrating Mother Earth.
Join TLS in its “Go Green” regime and show some care to Mother Earth...Consider doing things like fixing up your car with recycled auto parts instead of buying an entirely new automobile. Recycle everything you can – from the aforementioned paper napkins to larger items like scrap metal and appliances...Be the change you wish to see in the world, as Gandhi exhorted, and show some care to Mother Earth on not only Mother’s Day, but on all days.
