Neue Christliche Akademie in Wusterwitz (about forty-three miles southwest of Berlin), is scheduled to take place on May 24 – 28, 2012 in celebration of the Judaeo-Christian Feast of Pentecost, which simultaneously commemorates Moses' receiving of The Law on Mount Sinai, and The Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles, following the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The event titled, “The Advent of A Great Awakening” will be attended by Course in Miracles teachers and students from all over Europe, and is described in the event program booklet as “A Worldwide Gathering in which We Realize A Moment of Eternal Peace.”
In his announcement about the Convention, Teacher of God, Wolter van Verschuer stated, “We are not there to celebrate historical events, but the present memory of a living experience, in recognition of our singular Christ Mind, the Holy Spirit.”
“The Law," continued van Verschuer, “is not a stone tablet...We love the Lord our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind...That is the peace and joy we share.”
As our invitation says, “Come and free yourself that the world may be free...We invite you to experience the incomparable healing energies of love emanating from this ever-expanding circle of atonement. It is formed with teachers of God through their uncompromising commitment to and recognition of the miraculous, spontaneous transformation and illumination of their individual minds and bodies.
“Listen carefully: Stay watchful for the love that is all about you. Come and lay aside the grievances of your old pitifully fearful helpless self. You are entering into a brand new yet very ancient rapidly accelerating continuum of time, in which you will recognize yourself as a perfect creation of God.”
All presentations during the convention will be in the English language, with simultaneous translations in German, Polish, Spanish, Italian and Greek.
