Top Five Winning Dark Knight Shirts chosen by Christopher Nolan.
The Rising Shadow by Studio8Worx: The Rising Shadow has really caused some commotion with the use of paint splatters and the unique blend of Bane to Batman. Overall the images of Bane and Batman flow well with the movement of the designs of the shirt.
Bane T-shirt by Mr. Nicolo: This design was stand out with his interpretation of Bane with the bright blue colors with the piercing orange eyes. Mr. Nicolo has been a Batman fan since he was a kid, with his favorite character being Bane, inspired him to create Bane as dominate, fury filled monster.
Arise by SilentOP: SilentOP captures Batmans face constructed in the cityscape with the Batman signal outlining the sky above the city. The use of aquatic blue creates the energy in the bat signal that dilutes through Gotham and the city.
Come From the Darkness by Geno75: This t-shirt design uses Batman’s expression, body language and the way his cape flows really shows that Batman is about to burst into action. The Dark Knight strikes the ground and clenches his fists ready to fight.
Hello Mr. Wayne by SkyPeee: The 1st place winner shows a good sense of motion between Batman fighting off Bane. The intense fight between Bane and Batman is composed under cascaded shadows and ominous textures.

As the final week The Dark Knight Rises t-shirt contest came to a close, artists waited in suspense to see if their design was selected by the producer Christopher Nolan himself for the Grand Prize. In the trailer for the upcoming film Bane says, “Gotham, take control... take control of your city...For the lucky winners that were chosen, and especially the Grand prize winner, they will be recognized as an award winning t-shirt designer. There were over 3000 submissions and all the unique and creative designs that were submitted from Bane to Catwomen all the way to the Dark Knight made this contest very competitive...Basara!,” which means “Rise,” and that’s what these artist have done; They rose to the occasion that presented itself.
With hundreds of submissions, thousands of votes, it is narrowed down to the best artwork. These cool shirt artist have claimed the top spot in t-Shirt designs.
