Recently opened, Mulberry Street Italian Kitchen, serves up Family-Style portions at affordable prices. May 02, 2012
After an extensive renovation of the previous Eclisse Mediterraneo/Laguna space, former White Plains resident, John Gazzola, returns home to open a 6,000 square foot, 100 plus seat Italian restaurant and bar in the heart of White Plains’ thriving restaurant scene. Serving family style portions of classic Italian dishes and Brick Oven pizza, Mulberry Street offers a menu sure to please everyone. Combine great food with a 45 foot long White Carrera marble bar, extensive wine list, and weekend piano players, Mulberry Street appeals to the mature bar-goer just as well.
“We’re excited to be joining White Plains’ growing restaurant community,” says John Gazzola. “As one of 5 restaurant projects we have planned for downtown White Plains, we are most excited about taking our first step with Mulberry Street. In these economic times, a quality meal at an affordable price in a comfortable setting is in high demand.”
The menu at Mulberry Street is filled with favorites that diners have come to know and love. Big, bold platters of food, made from the highest quality ingredients, evoke the simple pleasures of family style dining. Brick Oven Pizzas, made from the same recipes as the classic Little Italy Pizzerias, are perfect to share as an appetizer or to take home to the family. Whether its linguini, rigatoni, angel hair, or spaghetti, with everything from alfredo sauce to vodka sauce, these simple dishes are sure to please the most sophisticated palates. Chicken dishes from scarpariello to saltimbocca, veal parmigiana to veal marsala, and seafood from scampi to fra diavolo are just a few favorites from the menu. For dessert, try Junior’s NY Cheesecake, chocolate chip cannoli, and of course, the smoothest Tiramisu in town.
Boasting a mile long marble bar, Mulberry Street is destined to be a favorite of Westchester’s mature nightlife crowd. A bottle of Red, a bottle of White, the carefully constructed wine program features outstanding options of both. Weekend Piano Players perform sing along favorites, while seasoned bartenders mix cocktail classics. Pull up a Stool, Grab a Drink, Sing a Song!
Possibly the most appealing feature of the Mulberry Street space is the 100 person banquet room. The versatility of this room allows for groups of any size and for any occasion. Whether it’s a 20 person business meeting, 50 person baby shower, or 100 person reception, Mulberry Street has the capability to provide an entirely personalized experience for its guests.
