Breivik plans propaganda campaign from court room - reporter Norwegian journalist Stein Akre says Anders Breivik, who killed 77 people in gun and bomb attacks in Norway last year, intends to use his trial to promote his extremist ideas The trial of Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik has so far seen him perform a right-wing salute, smirk at survivors in court, and weep at his own propaganda video. The gunmen admits to killing 77 people in a bomb attack on a government building and a shooting rampage at a youth camp last summer. But he denies criminal guilt - insisting it was self-defense to protect Norway from being taken over by Muslims. Norwegian journalist Stein Akre says Breivik wants to use his trial to promote his extremism - and is succeeding. "Anders Breivik has at the outset made this his plan ... to do an outrageous criminal act and then use the court proceedings later to advocate this around the world and in that sense one might say that he has succeeded in that", he told RT. However, not all want to participate in the charade and "some of the witnesses that have been called in have actually refused to go in because they don't want to be part of this propaganda that he is using the court case to promote", Akre said. The journalist predicts two outcomes for the case. "He can be charged 21 years and then confinement, which in theory can go on for the rest of his life.
