Dimensional Control Systems, Inc. (DCS), provider of quality management software solutions and consulting services, today announced that Vice President Donald Jasurda will address automotive professionals at the 2012 SAE World Congress. The event will be held at Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan, April 24 through 26.
Jasurda will kick off the Virtual Design & Engineering session, IDM301, at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, in Room D0-04B. The session showcases the creation and application of tools that allow for the design and manufacture of parts, equipment, facilities and tests without physical part prototyping early in a program.
The DCS presentation, “Dimensional Engineering and Tolerance Analysis: Do It Right the First Time” will focus on how simulation-based tools used in a “closed-loop” dimensional engineering-based quality management process enable users to identify potential engineering issues in the virtual world without the use of physical prototypes.
