Family Travel Mobile Phone App Wins Industry Award

KIDzOUT, a mobile application for families on the go, was honored as one of the best new web services of 2011 during the 2012 Cribsie Awards announced last week.

KIDzOUT is a map-based mobile application that helps parents to locate diaper changing stations, family-friendly restaurants, children’s play places, and medical services.
The Cribsie Awards, hosted by A-List Mom, StrollerTraffic and The Honest Company, recognize the best products, brands, services and websites for babies and tots. The New Arrival Awards honor the best new brands and products introduced in 2011, as judged by the Cribsie Academy, a prestigious panel of industry leaders, experts, and celebrities.

KIDzOUT directs parents to user-rated and reviewed baby changing locations (sorted by women’s restrooms, men’s restrooms, family restrooms), kid-friendly restaurants (sorted by kids menu, gluten free options, play areas, booster seats, high chairs), play places finder (sort by playground features, water fountains and bathrooms) and medical facilities (sort by hospitals, urgent care locations and pharmacies) using a proprietary database of over 260,000 known locations.
