Hydro X specialise in providing solutions for water treatment. They cover six main areas including managing cooler towers and boiler water, air system management, water hygiene, training and plant equipment and servicing. Over the next 12 months they will be running a series of sustainability seminars across the UK. The first will be on the 6th October and will focus on Legionella risk assessment. The seminar will aim to educate about the prevention of Legionella as well as teaching delegates about the latest technologies available in water treatment and using alternative water sources.
The seminar on the 6th October will include a series of talks lead by Ken Ashley, guest speaker for the event. Ken Ashley was an expert witness for the Health and Safety Executive in the Barrow in Furness Legionella outbreak in 2002. “We’re very excited to have Mr Ashley as our guest speaker for the seminar as he has a wealth of knowledge in the area of water treatment, particularly in the field of Legionella risk assessment,” states Chris Baker, marketing manager for Hydro X. “Educating people on the importance of Legionella risk assessment is a key part of the seminar and something that we feel delegates will benefit greatly from. This will be our 9th free national seminar and it is already more popular than ever with places filling up fast.”
The seminar day will begin with talks and then the delegates will take part in small workshops that will have been selected prior to the event. The workshops include risk assessment evaluation, action planning for a Legionella colonised building, electronic logbook for multi-building portfolios and sustainability.
“The seminar will be an excellent opportunity for delegates to learn about the very latest technologies available in the water treatment arena,” says Chris Baker. “We are always keen to educate on the importance of sustainable water treatment and these seminars are a fantastic way to provide information on sustainability as well as Legionella prevention.”
The seminar on the 6th October will take place at the Milbank Tower in London. For more information, or to book a place on the seminar, visit the website directly.
