2. Add a Title
3. Add a Description - Can be short paragraph or an entire article.
4. Upload an image or video if you have one (optional)
5. Add a news story URL (if the news has already been reported by someone else, optional)
6. Add the location of the news report (Country, City)

An example of a news report or news event page

You can report your news from your cellphone, by sending an SMS text message or MMS message.

As soon as allvoices receives your SMS, MMS or email message, the system will create a new news report page for you and send you an event code to contribute more content to the same news. For every news report page there is an eventcode that uniquely defines the news event page:

For instance this news report has an event code 1036923. If you want to add more content or get other people to contribute to this existing news event, use the event code (Event Code: @1036923), as the first word of the SMS or MMS message followed by a space then add your contribution (text, image or video). For example: @abcxyz This is an amazing video of Greg Norman eating a shark in Sydney, Australia. The first word of the message should be @abcxyz (event code), to make sure the system attaches your voice to the right news event.

You can also share the event code of your news report with you friends to contribute their voices (text, video and images) to your news event. This would result in more page views for you.

You can track your progress on the total number of page views on your reported or contributed content on your profile page. Your total numbers of page views are sum of:

• Number of page views per news reports you created
• Number of times your profile page is viewed
• Number of page views your contributions received on other people's new report e.g. uploaded videos or images etc.

Note these are just estimates and the company has the sole discretion to determine genuine vs. fraudulent page views.

  • Login to your blogger account
  • Click on Layout tab
    • Click on Edit HTML
      • Check the "Expand Widget Template"
      • Paste the copied code snippet from allvoices to the template box before the line that reads <div class='post-footer'> in the template box
      • Replace the XXXXX in <span class="item-control blog-admin pid-XXXXX"> with the Blog ID which can found in your address box URL for example for http://www.blogger.com/html?blogID=6403924409044243078&tpl=true

        

      • Here the XXXXX needs to be replaced with 6403924409044243078
      • So the line in the template box should read: <span class="item-control blog-admin pid-6403924409044243078">
      • Click on "Save Template"

    • After you have pasted in the code snippet, press Update File

  • Click on Design

  • Under Quickfilters (on the left hand side) select Template Modules
  • Select Entry Detail (a box with code will appear on your screen)
  • Paste the code snippet you copied from allvoices at the bottom.
  • Press Save to save the template.

When you reach the first milestone of 10K pageviews, please submit the following:

1. Completed and signed tax form (only required once). Fax to +1-415-391-1079 or email to incentive@allvoices.com.
   • US citizens: IRS Form W-9 (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw9.pdf)
   • International participants: IRS Form W-8BEN (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8ben.pdf). Instructions can be found at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8ben.pdf.
2. Write your Allvoices username and email on the bottom of your tax form.
3. We pay via check only. Checks are processed every 2 weeks.
