Khyber Zakha Khel tribes held a Jirga here on Friday. The Jirga formed fifty persons armed Committee for patrolling in the area .The Jirga was largely attended by local people. Malik Abdur Razaq while speaking to the Jirga said that the peaceful environment of Landikotal was no more existing due to the illegal activities of the so called Taliban.He made it clear that they were supporting Taliban who were fighting against US led Forces in Afghanistan.Malik Abdur Razaq seconded the Army Chief statement to protect the borders and sovereignty of the country. He assured the army Chief that tribal people would fight side by side with army for the protection and defense of the country, as it was their motherland. He said that it was not fair to kidnap innocent people or kill people in tribal areas. He said that there was anarchy in FATA and every body was unsafe in tribal areas especially in Landikotal.Those who kill the innocent tribesmen can not be called Taliban rather they are terrorists, said Malik Abdur FATA.He also asked the government to come forward to support the tribal peaceful people who want to restore peace and tranquility in FATA.He deplored that people were afraid of death but it would come on time. He stressed upon the tribal people to stop the activities of the terrorists in LandiKotal.Iqbal Khyberwal said that it was a right step in the right direction that Government and tribal people got together against terrorists in tribal areas. Iqbal Khyberwal expressed that through unity of government and tribal people, Taliban and other militants could be flushed out from FATA.He also condemned Al-Qaeda leadership for fighting a war in FATA against America as he said that alien people should use their own lands for fights against their enemies. The next Jirga would be held on Monday for the formation of a Tribal Lashker (armed Force).
