Qazi feared civil war in Pakistan

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Qazi Hussein Ahmad while talking to a delegation of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Agency led by Zarnoor Afridi at Palosi Peshawar said that army chief Pervez Kayani should not seek popular support from the people to continue the so-called war on terror. PPP led government in Islamabad is making the people to fight against each other by forming armed Lashkers in FATA against terrorism, observed Qazi Hussain Ahmad.Qazi Hussain Ahmad feared the danger of a civil war in the country which could sink the country. He said that security and integrity of Pakistan were already at stake due to the wrong policies of the coward rulers. He said that popular support could not be achieved until the government and the army detach Pakistan from the alliance of the US led Forces in Afghanistan. He said that people in FATA as well as in the country would support both the army and the government only if the rulers announce that Pakistan was no more a front line ally in the so-called war on terror. Qazi Hussain Ahmad asked the government to change the polices as per the wishes and demands of the people if the rulers want a durable peace to thrive in the country. Peace can be restored only after the government makes policies reflecting the wishes of the countrymen. Implementing the American agenda will foment further disturbance, said Qazi.People friendly policies can ensure peace and prosperity and through this way an investment friendly environment can be created in Pakistan, concluded Qazi Hussain Ahmad, JI Chief.
