Khasadars seized fine quality of heroine at Anzari Check post in Landikotal here on Tuesday. The smuggler driver namely Saz Gul son of Stana Gul was coming from Reena Parchao an Afghan border area in a car bearing No: 237 KA along with three other passengers to Landikotal.The smuggler driver had put the eight kg heroine of fine quality in a secret portion of his car to hide it from the khasadars and FC Force on the check posts in the way. The smuggler successfully crossed the first check post at Ghakhi Loy Shelman whether by giving some bribes to the concerned persons or they were dodged, but when he reached the second check post at Anzari on the top of Loy Shelman, the Khasadars working under Subidar Abas Ali, Shoaib Khan and Akram Udin Shinwari in routine checking recovered the eight kg heroine from the secret portion of the car. The smuggler driver Saz Gul along with the three passengers in the same car were brought to Landikotal jail for detail report and investigations. Here it deserves to be mentioned that usually the smugglers get success to cross the Ghakhi Check post at Loy Shelman and are apprehended at Anzari check post. The smuggling of weapons and heroine thorough the said check posts is on the rise. Meanwhile a flying coach full of passengers turned turtle in Loy Shelman.Almost fifteen persons sustained minor and serious injuries. The serious ones were brought to Agency headquarter hospital at Landikotal.After a news was published in a section of press regarding the sale of meat of a mule, APA Landikotal Muhammad Tuhab Khan and Tehsildar Javid Ullah Mehsud paid a surprise visit in tight security to know about the cleanliness in bazaar and the profiteers besides that butcher who had allegedly sold meat of a mule which is forbidden in Islam, told a source. The common people seeing the officials in bazaar opined that they were just completing a formality rather than to punish or charge any one who was fleecing the poor people.
