Political administration closed Agency surgeon offices at Agency head quarter hospital Landikotal here on Saturday.

Political Tehsildar Landikotal told that the offices of the agency surgeon at Landikotal hospital were closed on the written request of agency surgeon Zaman Khattak.The head clerk was asked to disburse the salaries of the staffers at Tehsil administration office to avoid any possible confrontation, added Tehsildar.He told that the situation will soon be improved.

While talking to media men on phone Agency surgeon Zaman Khattak told that Medical superintendent (MS) Dr Zar Alam shinawari had formally requested PA Khyber and director health services Fata to shift the offices of agency surgeon staff from Landikotal to Jamrud.That is why he said that MS Landikotal was fully involved in this matter to make it complicated. Agency surgeon also told that MS of Landikotal hospital had created different groups in hospital that had created panic in the hospital staff. Bomb blasts were a result of this panic among the groups, alleged Agency surgeon. He blamed MS Landikotal for the worse condition of the hospital, just to prolong his period. Zaman khattak said that his subordinate staff would come to Jamrud as offices for them had already been built at Jamrud as per government policy, but he also said that he would visit his camp office at Landikotal to solve local based problems of his subordinates.

When MS of Landikotal hospital Dr.Zar Alam Shinwari was contacted to comment, he rejected the allegations leveled by Agency Surgeon as baseless. He said that he had no concern with the shifting of the staffers and offices of Agency Surgeon to Jamrud.

Hazrat Amin a staffer of Agency Surgeon regretted that the local employees working under Agency Surgeon would have to face serious consequences if shifted to Jamrud.He said that million of rupees could not be disbursed at Tehsil office nor the women staff could come there to get salaries. Another employee told that there were 225 employees in Landikotal who were under Agency Surgeon. All of them will face problems if forced to shift to Jamrud.The concerned institutes will also be suffered under this policy if tried to be supervise from Jamrud, he feared. Meanwhile a 60 member Jirga of health staff of Agency Surgeon reportedly met Tehsildar Landikotal and requested him not to force them get salaries from Tehsil office and that the offices of Agency Surgeon should be reopened for their convenience. It is worth mentioning that a week ago the local militants had raided hospital who had demanded the transfer orders of both MS and Agency Surgeon.A confrontation inside the hospital has been going on since long among the MS, Agency Surgeon and the subordinates on petty differences due to which the day to day affairs of hospital have been badly affected.
