Landikotal: Under age boys were arrested at Torkham alleged for smuggling flour in small bags to Afghanistan here on Wednesday.Tehsildar Torkhan himself was monitoring the border to check flour smuggling at Torkham border.A dozens under age boys were arrested while smuggling flour to Afghanistan.It is worth mentioning that the other day too administration had reportedly put some eight under age boys in Landikotal jail which is said to be a violation of human rights.Administration told that they were repeatedly asked to stop this illegal business but they were deaf to hear any warning in this respect.An official told at Torkham that administration had formally informed the business community and the shopkeepers to avoid giving any flour bags to the under age boys and girls as there was a risk that the boys or the girls might come under the tyres of the trailers at Torkham border,but the official regretted that despite their warnings the shopkeepers and the young smugglers were not taking it serious.That is why he said the administration was compelled to send them jail and challan their flour bags.
