You can add videos and images to your report before or after you submit the report.

To add videos and images while you are creating a report on the Report Your News page:

1. Login
2. Click Report Your News in the upper right
3. Click Add Your Videos or Add Your Images
4. Choose and open your file (or enter the YouTube link click ADD VIDEO)
5. Enter title, tags and a short but related description so the system can check for relevance
6. Click SAVE
7. Complete your report, and click POST

To add videos and images after you have already submitted your report:

1. Login
2. Click your username in the upper right to go to your profile page
3. Find the report on your News tab and click the title to go to the report page
4. Click the Videos or Images tab
5. Click Upload Videos or Upload Images
6. Choose and open your file (or enter the YouTube link click ADD VIDEO)
7. Enter title, tags and a short but related description so the system can check for relevance
8. Click SAVE

Cell Phone Users NOTE:

If you have uploaded images via your cell phone but have not yet registered, you will need to register to view them. We will automatically show your previously submitted images and videos on your profile page. Be aware that even if a video is shown on your profile page, it might take a little longer for it to be processed and become live.

To delete a video or image from your own report:

1. Login
2. Click your username in the upper right to go to your profile page
3. Find the report on your News tab and click the title to go to the report page
4. Click the Videos or Images tab to view the images or videos you uploaded to that report
5. Rollover or highlight the video or image you want to delete
6. Click Delete

To delete a video or image from another user's Contributor Report, a Mainstream News report or People page:

1. Login
2. Click your username in the upper right to go to your profile page
3. Click the Videos or Images tab
4. Rollover or highlight the video or image you want to delete
5. Click Delete

All submitted videos and photos should be original content you create or that you have the rights to publish. You can link to YouTube videos which have the embedded code enabled. For more information, please refer to the Copyright Infringement section of our Terms of Use.

The maximum sizes supported are:

• 100 MB per video (approx. 10 minutes)
• Links to YouTube videos have no limits
• 4 MB for a profile image
• 45 MB for each report image (10 images per upload batch)

Supported video types include mpeg, mp4, mpg, mov, flv, 3gp and wmv. We are continuously adding support for more video formats.

Supported image types include jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp.

Supported image types include jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp.

1. First confirm the size of the video is under 100 MB
2. Check your Internet connection
3. Make sure that the video file type is one of the following formats: mp4, mpg, mov, flv, 3gp and wmv
