When content is flagged for copyright infringement, we review it and determine the validity of the claim. We remove or disable access to infringing content when reported and confirmed. We send warnings to alleged infringers and terminate the accounts of repeat offenders if required.

You may only upload content that is created solely by you and does not include content created by another party unless the copyright owner has authorized you to use the material. Recording content on your camcorder or phone from television, a live concert, or sporting event does not necessarily mean that you own the copyright or are authorized to use it.

Public domain content is defined (by the U.S. Copyright Office) as copyright-free material that anyone can use. Users are still required to give proper attribution to the author or source to avoid plagiarism or copyright infringement.
Content is "public domain" if it was never eligible for copyright or when the term of the copyright on the content expires. Once content is in the public domain, it can be used freely by the public.

As a citizen reporting and social media platform, Allvoices is intended for uploading and sharing of citizen-created content and is designed to discourage misuse. However, users may link to YouTube and partner videos or upload videos that are not copyright protected (i.e. public domain).
You own the rights to the content you submit if you created the content or you acquired the rights to use it. When you upload your content, you grant us a license to use and display that content. Allvoices reserves the right to use and re-distribute your content.
