TZANEEN, South Africa - - Updates on Missing Albatros Planes:

As per reports aired by SABC radio late on Monday; the remains of two Albatross aircraft that went missing in George's Valley, Limpopo has been found.

It was supposed that there might be a mid-air smash, SA Flyer magazine editor Guy Leitch told the broadcaster.

Earlier it was reported that .....

Rescue and search teams on the ground and in the skies are still in Limpopo looking for the two light aircraft that went missing while flying to Gauteng from Tzaneen, following an air show there this weekend.

The missing Albatross planes were each carrying six people.

A search and rescue team is hiking to an area where a community leader claims to have seen the aircrafts crashing down.

According to police sources helicopter couldn’t be sent to the place because of bad weather therefore right now only ground team is on searching assignment.

Brian Emmenis, an experienced air show commentator, says a substantial search operation is in progress.

"There are many helicopters; military, police and private, there are ground search parties with 4X4 vehicles, the Mountain Club of South Africa, South African Search and Rescue, everybody is involved," he said.
