Lenovo announced on Friday two new models of ThinkPad notebooks Edge, a 14-inch and a 15.6-inch segment for business. Both laptops are based on AMD A-Series and dedicated graphics chips using AMD Radeon. In addition to the two notebooks, the company has launched a portable 14-inch monitor with a USB connection, for users who need more room to work even when in motion.
E425 laptop (14 inches) and E525 (15 inch) are up to 13% thinner than previous models, according to the manufacturer, and include as standard spill-resistant keyboard accidentally LED displays. Both could use up to 8GB of RAM and are available in configurations with hard drives up to 750GB.
The new portable monitor, with full name ThinkVision LT1421 has a diagonal of 14 inches (35.5 cm) and receives video and power through a single USB port. Integrated stand angle can be adjusted vertically, and brightness is adjustable in 16 steps. More details on Lenovo.com
