100 PAKISTANI STUDENTS TO ATTEND GLOBAL UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE PROGRAMME IN UNITED STATES

SOCIAL KNOTS -- A TOOL FOR BETTER PAK-US TIES

The Global Undergraduate Exchang Program Orientation that is being held by the United States Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs from 12-15 August for Pakistan under Graduate students would be held at Washington. Hundred students from Pakistan are participating in the event in Global UGRAD-Pakistan under the exchange programme at U.S.College and Universities. All the participants would attend at least one semester of non-degree study in U.S. in more than 53 accredited institutions spread over U.S in 4 year study programmes. The participants will also be permitted to participate in local community service projects, engage in cultural enrichment activities in and out side campus by the time of completion of American Studies course.

“The Global UGRAD-Pakistan program is part of the Department of State-sponsored Global Undergraduate Exchange Program, a scholarship program for about 600 students from East Asia, and the Pacific, the Near East, South Asia, Eurasia, and Central Asia” according to the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of U.S.
