Doctors who treated Nash at Brigham & Women's in Boston (Massachusetts) consider it a "miracle" he survived the attack, claiming that his transplant, performed in May in an operation that lasted twenty hours, has been a is experiencing significant success and progress.Although still weak, Nash is able to eat certain foods you are sensitive to the jaw and begins to regain a sense of smell, in addition to some gestures and expressions. "It's good to see progress so quickly, new hope has begun," said his daughter Briana to Today Show. While Nash's face is gradually improving, another hand transplant was not as successful, but the woman and her family rely on a new attempt in the future.
