Proposing a girl might be a simple thing for most of you but for some,it's really something very special.

This Chinese man Pang Kun took three weeks and £9,300 on the proposal.

And he finally proposed his girlfriend while dressed as carrots along with his 48 other friends who were also dressed the same way.

The girl was out there shopping at Qingdao in east China's Shangong province when she was proposed.

The reason for choosing the orange colour was that it was his girlfriend's favourite colour.

Pang peeled off his costume and the crowd chatted 'marry him, marry him'and when he finally did get down on bended knee, she gladly accepted his proposal.

'Six months ago I met you,' he said as he danced. 'I still remember your shyness on our first date, my longing for the next date, and my excitement the first time I held your hand at the movie theatre.'

His proposal has led him to become an Internet sensation, and online users have nicknamed him 'carrot boy', which has temporarily become one of the most searched terms in China.
