leadership change at the Saar: After twelve years, takes over Peter Mueller on Wednesday Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer (both CDU), the Prime Minister's Office.

The Saarbrücken parliament will choose the former Minister of Social Affairs in the morning at the head of the only black-yellow-green state government in Germany. A majority of the 27 votes of the three government parties is considered to be largely safe. The 49-year-Kramp Karrenbauer is then next to Christine Lieberknecht (Thuringia) and Hannelore Kraft (North Rhine-Westphalia) is currently the third female boss of a country's Cabinet.

"I know that Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer with the same caution with the same expertise, the Office of the Prime Minister of this country is responsible," Mueller said in his resignation on Tuesday. There was a detailed coalition agreement of CDU, FDP and Greens and among the actors a relationship of trust. "That's why Jamaica is also stable - no matter whether the Peter Mueller is there or not."

His future plans would not comment on Mueller. Generally accepted is that the 55-year-old lawyer seeking a position as a constitutional judge in Karlsruhe.
