One killed and two others injured on tower dispute in Ghallanai

GHALLANAI: A man was killed and two others including a minor girl were seriously injured on Monday in an armed ambush in Ghallanai area of Mohmand Agency.

According to sources, a man identified as Muhammad Ibrahim son of Suliman Shah was allegedly killed and his son Bilal Khan along with a 4-year girl, Aneesa, were injured by Malik Sarwar over a dispute on the ownership of a tower of a private cell company. Muhammad Ibrahim and Malik Sarwar, both close relatives, had a long dispute over the right of employment on the above-mentioned tower but it took an ugly shape when Malik Sarwar and his family along with heavy weaponry came up and after surrounding the house of Muhammad Ibrahim opened indiscriminate firing on his family members which resulted in the death of the family head and injury of two others. The injured were immediately shifted to the Agency Headquarters Hospital, Ghallanai.
